Sin City

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Yes, the hotness factor in this movie made me say "Natalie who?"

Though the blue eyed chick with the crosses around her neck reminded me a bit too much of ex #2.

#2 was the one I knew? Forgetting her name.

Yes, and I'm still working to forget her name as well.

Decent flick. It has given me a new all-time winner for anatomical violence in a movie scene. It had to beat out Jennifer Lopez ripping out Vincent D'ononfrio's nipple rings in "The Cell."

I digged it.

Which scene did Tarentino direct? I'm guessing it was a scene that involved Miho.

I saw Sin City last week. I thought it was visually stunning and had some interesting action sequences, However, I thought the movie had gaps of unexplained back story between the characters and their relationships and situations. Same problem I had with the graphic novel.

So what was the deal with the big guy looking so much like Hellboy?

Yeah. He had the mannerisms too, though, even if he was a smidge more sadistic than Hellboy.

I'm glad someone did this. I was pausing the trailer and comparing shots to panels in the comic.

Finally saw this one over the weekend. It kicks much ass.

Dictionary Dave brings up a good point about the lack of backstory, but I think it's more forgiveable here as this is a noir film. I think there are supposed to be gaps as that's part of the genre. Besides, they tended to fill in all the details you needed as the story progressed and each story actually ended.

The visuals were amazing as were the sets and makeup.

I look forward to the sequel.

Finally saw this. Love it muchly.

9 out of 10

I especially like the gaps in the backstory, how it seems to come in halfway through and let's you fill in the gaps yourself.

It seems that she rents her spankings on DVD.
