Former President Jimmy Carter says Obama never calls him for advice

Interesting, because I thought Obama giving up America's control of the internet sounded a lot like Carter's giving up control of the Panama Canal.

edit - Which even Bill Clinton thinks is a bad idea.

Yeah, the Panama canal came to mind for me as well.

I remember once a few years ago the unions pulled out their big inflatable rat and were protesting the site of some hotel being built near here. The hotel was visible along the highway, accessible from some service road that of course you never drive down unless you are going to that hotel. So, the unions were protesting facing the highway, for max visibility.

Drove past them on the way to the movie, and saw them.

On the way home after the movie, the construction crew had created a 20 foot high wall of dirt so no one on the highway could see the union protesters.
