As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

The filmmaker has already announced two sequels to Avatar are already in pre-production. The first is due in December 2014 with the second to follow 12 months later.

He said: "We will not back off the throttle of Avatar's visual and emotional horse-power."

Walt Disney is also to build attractions based on the film at its theme parks.

"Emotional horsepower" was never an attribute I would have... attributed to that film.

Not one, not two, but THREE sequels are planned.

I actually look forward to watching as the technology isn't as impressive, and they begin to rely more on the story.

That's when the fun should begin.

Fixed.

Cameron talks about the sequels.
-“New worlds, new habitats, new cultures.”

-“Still Humans (dominating nature) vs. Navi (integrating into nature), but with new manifestations.”

Wow. How ground breaking. What creativity.

Cameron can go stand behind Lucas in the "I had that one idea and that was it" line.

Another day, another person claiming Cameron plagiarized them.

This time some board ruled this guy's claims have merit.

I think Cameron should sue himself for plagiarism.

This movie is like someone took the worst part (battle on the surface of Endor's moon) of the worst movie of the original Star Wars trilogy (Return of the Jedi) and decided to stretch it out about 500% with what appears to be the result of Dr. Mephisto playing around with the DNA of ewoks and approximately humanoid-sized smurfs.
