Now You See Me

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

4 street magicians get recruited by an unknown person to pull off an impossible heist.

Jesse Eisenberg (who comes off like a complete dick), Woody Harrelson, Isla Fisher, and Dave Franco are the "Four Horsemen" magicians. Mark Ruffalo is the FBI agent tasked with catching them, and yes, you will be thinking "Oh shit, he's getting angry" more than once. Morgan Freeman is a retired magician who also tracks the horsemen to reveal their tricks.

You should know by now that there's a twist coming. I mean in the first five minutes there's a character who is never revealed... The filmmakers use some cheap tactics to try and throw you off as well.

It's a decent enough movie. Not a classic, but entertaining.

In The Prestige the big twist is...

Prestige spoiler.....

that he had a twin the entire time.

I hope they aren't recycling the same twist with 4 sets of twins.

Pretty good flick. Sort of bummed at what they did to the Horseman at the end. Just don't like the ending.

*spoilers follow kinda sorta*

Also, framing the skeptic so he spends the rest of his life in jail seems kind of harsh, too.

I was entertained. Is it the greatest movie ever - of course not. As Leisher mentions, they do some things to keep you from knowing more, but that's pretty typical. You know (probably) who is behind the entire thing based on clues, conceptually. The big reveal had a few hints, but not many.

Entertaining, fast-paced, not very deep. Great workout film.

Well, the 2nd movie was certainly worse than the first. Now you see me 2 was just meh. Lost a lot of the charm and fun of the first.
