White House Down

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Another unrealistic story about bad guys taking the White House. Lots of stuff that will make most of you scoff.

That being said, it's an entertaining popcorn film.

Channing Tatum is the underachiever that wants to protect the president, played by Jamie Foxx. He takes his daughter on a White House tour and that's when the bad guys make their move.

This one has more jokes thrown in than Olympus has Fallen.

Turn off your brain and just enjoy the explosions.

Aside from the racist overtones (Black President, and once again angry white men as the evil people) it's light and enjoyable.

Gerard Butler needs to be the villain for the sequel. Then Channing Tatum has to return the favour for Olympus Has Fallen 2: And It Can't Get Up. Just to confuse the fuck out of people.

I liked the Gerard Butler version of the movie. Delightfully violent.

More violent than I expected for a PG-13... at least more deaths, but I guess they cut the gruesome parts and just let you imagine them.

Overall, not bad, but you certainly have to turn your brain all the way to off, not just down.

Typical Roland Emmerich movie; fun but kind of dumb.
