As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

The difference is Disney is meant to be a distraction so children won't bother their parents, while Peanuts is meant to teach children that life is pain.

I think there's a legit message about not being stuck in the box people put you in. But Charlie Brown's story certainly seems... truer.
