Primer - Yay! Netflix

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

A low-budget, indy film about some guys who build a time travel device in their garage. Flick is well received in scifi circles.

loops within loops within loops.... hard to follow. Once or twice I caught a little hint that something had changed...

but....

all in all, one of the more confusing movies I had ever watched.

So confusing someone did a paper on it.

I watched it, and I found the general concept to be fascinating, but the execution mind numbingly dull.

The whole movie is dialogue, which isn't bad, but in this case helps make it harder to follow. Especially since the characters seem to only own one outfit each.

If you're looking for action Sci-Fi, keep looking. If you're looking for something to spark thought and discussion about the actual effects of time travel, then check this out.

I have no idea why people consider this movie confusing. I no longer remember the details now, but I do remember thinking it was not at all complex. Just boring as hell.

I got about three quarters through before I realized there was a deeper recursive loop that I hadn't realized, which meant everything I just thought I watched was wrong. At that point I sort of lost track.

You are just really smart, that's why you had no problem.

Programmers eat recursion like recursion eats memory.
