An "RPG" that's more of a stroll through history than an actual game. Yes, there's a game here, but the gimmick that is really interesting is how the game evolves as you progress.

You begin in the early days of PC gaming in terms of graphics, sound, and how to play. As you open chests you're rewarded with the same evolutions that were actually made as PC games got more advanced. Your graphics slowly get better, the sound gets better, and you're able to do more in game.

The story is there, but kind of just because it has to be, and not because it's awesome. Again, the gimmick is the evolution of the game play.

I would consider this a must play for old school RPGers or anyone who is curious about how far the genre has come.

It'd be a great game for young kids too as it's not very difficult. In fact, the hardest part of the game is finding where all the hidden items are located.

I finished the game rather quickly and with 100% completion rate. I think it's the only game where I got all of the achievements too.

Don't pay more than $5 for it.
