Facial recognition software plus image search. The difficult bit is the initial "random face in the world -> definitive person ID" mapping part. Once you know who someone is, the game is over.

Google's official reply was "not true."

Dunno what the truth is, but I bet it took a lot of R&D to get there (OS/software and hardware).

But yeah, you're not getting me at $1500

There's been so much backlash that I think the only way this will hit broad adaption is with eyeball implants. Peeps will have it and you'll never know. As such, you'd better have it, too.

I don't think the tech is there yet.
