Green Hornet

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Eh, the Green Hornet is pretty old school.

I've thought it was a bad idea since Kevin Smith first talked about it. I just don't think there are enough people who care about the character anymore.

Huh. I never knew there was a Green Hornet. For some reason I always thought it was this guy:

But he's the Brown Hornet, not the Green. So I guess he was just a knock-off.

Green Hornet had a Batman-esque style of TV serial (much like the old Adam West series). In fact, there may've been a crossover or two, if I remember. The kicker is that Bruce Lee was Kato & the theme song was done w\ Billy Mays's kick-ass trumpet solo.

Finally saw this film. I'm glad I waited until I could rent it for a dollar.

Just fucking terrible. I want my dollar back.

I've got an idea, on a lark, let's become super heroes with all sorts of Bond-like gadgets. Oh, and my employee just happens to be a genius who can build the gadgets, fight like a ninja, and have actual bullet time like in video games. How fortuitous!

Seth Rogan is Seth. He is who he is and basically plays the same guy as all the other films he's been in. Difference between this character and the one from Knocked Up? This one has more money.

The guy who plays Kato is actually the best part of the movie.

Cameron Diaz is in the film, and I have no idea why. She has a completely pointless and unresolved plot line.

Even the villain is pointless. The opening scene is the best scene in the movie, and after showing him to be smart and ruthless, he becomes a moron.

Just skip this turd.

3 out of 10.
