The Death Spiral States
In the last couple months in Northwood, a small city between me and Toledo, we have lost 2 Pizza Huts, a Rite Aid drug store, a Hostess bakery, and now a major, local retailer called, "Andersons" where I shopped at least three times a month. All places local to me, that I patronized, now gone.
The one mall has been deserted by the New York owners, it has been condemned, and no one can get a hold of them to renovate because the only time they communicate with the local government is to get their taxes out of arrears so the place doesn't get sold at sheriff sale so it can actually be reopened.
Nah, there aren't any problems here in Ohio.
