They said it is the BEST 25, but there is only 1 Memphis place, a couple KC places, and a few TX places. So no. Just 25 places to get "BBQ."

Kreuz Market - It's true that their sausages are phenomenal. I wasn't impressed with their brisket, though.

Goode and Co. BBQ - Meh. Nothing to write home about. The meat was a bit dry and the sauce is too vinegary. They had a place in history as great, but not when I went. But then I haven't been there in a few years; maybe they've got their head back in the game since then.

Salt Lick - Fuck yes, that place rocked.

Lexington BBQ – Lexington NC - Agreed, excellent.

The Pit - overpriced yuppie BBQ

As for a lot of the rest - anything that says beef is non BBQ

Boy, beef is a midwestern food.

Pig's a southern food.

For a New Yorker she has surprisingly good taste in BBQ. Not a single mention of that stupid "pulled pork" stuff anywhere on the list. Just good honest BBQ brisket!

Yeehaw!
