Smurfs

My wife and oldest daughter went to see this last night and reported that it was really, really good. My daughter is 6 and apparently laughed throughout the film. My wife says Hank Azaria steals the film as Gargamel.

My girlfriend took her Little Sister (from the Little Sister program) to see it and said it was terrible.
The 9 year old enjoyed it though.

So, my ex will be taking my daughter to see it and not I.

Did your wife mention how many times the smurfs said "Talk to the hand!" or some other outdated catch phrase?

Yeah, there were 4 Smurflings they added into the story several seasons later to "invigorate" the show, I assume. Kinda like adding a new kid to a family, etc.

Not that I ever watched the Smurfs.
