Doesn't seem to be terrible. Lots of elements from the original. The lead seems much less...masculine...than Kevin Bacon though.

Saw a Jimmy Fallon short with Kevin Bacon which was pretty funny. Made me think of this movie. So, I watched it.
Not sure why they bothered remaking it. It was EXACTLY the original. Well, except for the hip hop injected into all the songs, or making them hard core country songs. Same sound track but hip hop and countryfied.
So, whatever you thought of the original, reduce/add points for hip hop/country.
