From Paris with Love - Yay! Netflix.

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

A Luc Besson (Director of The Fifth Element) film about an American embassy worker in Paris who kinda-sorta gets paired up with an American "operative" played by John Travolta. Or does he?

Being a Besson film, I wondered if it would have a "love saves the day" ending, like TFE. I was pleasantly surprised that it totally and unapologetically illustrated that there is absolutely no problem that a lot of violence can't solve.

So far I like everything Besson has done (that I've seen).

Travolta is also still pulling off the "action hero" role. Good for his old, scientologist ass.
