Three Kingdoms - Yay! Netflix.

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Nutshell:

228 A.D., China is split into 3 kingdoms. This is a story about a guy fighting in one of the armies.

I was expecting a kung fu flick, but what I got was more Braveheart type battles than Crouching Tiger. Worse, often when there was a kung fu battle, it was full of fast edits and you couldn't get an appreciation for the dance of it. Boooo.

It was worth seeing if you like kung fu flicks as much as I do, but it wasn't the best thing I've ever seen. It did make me daydream about how cool it would be to see a Roman Legion spar against one of these Chinese regiments, to see what would happen.

In 228 A.D., I bet the Chinese army would've massacred the Romans. They had better tech.
