So a guy names Tom Hardy will play Bane and Anne Hathaway will be Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.

Little bummed about Bane would have rather seen what they would do with Riddle, Harley Quinn, or Calendar Man(might be a stretch). But again anyone who can make the scarecrow cool get the benefit of the doubt.

Bane seems a bit to comic booky to me. He seems to fall in that Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy group that works well in comics but doesn't translate to films as well. Of course you don't have to take everything from the comic either.

Bane could be great. He's supposed to be a formidable mix of brains and brawn. He's the dude that broke the Batman. That being said, I've no doubt he'll get fucked up worse than Deadpool.

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman? Really? When did Catwoman become the "a little better than average looking girl next door"?

Apologies to Anne, whom I'd sleep with in a heartbeat, but she isn't Catwoman. I hope she proves me wrong and she has a sultry switch she can turn on for the role...

No opinion on Bane. If done right, he can be a fine addition to the story. We'll see.

I'd prefer to see Mister Zsasz or, even better, Onomatopoeia.

I saw an article the other day talking about how 3D sales are dropping. Hopefully, we're seeing the end of the latest 3D fad.

I've also noticed that a lot of electronics stores are selling 3D TVs now as regular TVs with the 3D "option". This is a new marketing effort as 3D TVs weren't selling because the technology is stupid.

Nolan said that he did not want to make it in 3D because he hated it and the only thing special he was going to do was IMAX. If anyone has the pull to tell the studio no it is him but we shall see.
