Apparently headed to the big screen.
The story is about a group of former U.S. soldiers who are believed to have been killed during a mission. In reality, they survived and are looking for the person who tried to have them killed.
Interesting story filled with action and CIA shit.
I just hope this has a more definitive ending than the book.
The Losers
Some of my hopes for this film were fulfilled, some weren't.
The Losers is about a U.S. special ops team that gets on the bad side of a major player in the intelligence community. They get help in tracking him down thanks to a mysterious woman.
The action is really good, but not over the top (until the end). It's also sanitized. Don't expect to see tons of blood spurting around like Rambo. This is more like The A-Team (the TV show) except people do get shot.
The story is ok, but they changed a couple of things from the book that drag it down. For example, they go out of there way to try and make Max evil, but it just comes off as pointless. Someone so psycho would never have achieved his success. It's impossible. In the book, he was much smarter.
Overall, it's a decent film that tries a bit too hard to be cool. Worth a rental to fill an action jones though.
