They wouldn't spend all this money buying the rights, hiring the cast back, hiring a crew, etc. just to air a 13 hour marathon of new episodes.
I believe they're airing two new episodes tonight.

I thought it was a good return. Sure, they were "eh" compared to the high point of the series, but they were a vast improvement over the recent movie things.

The movies were a mixed bag. Bender's Big Score was my favourite, followed by Beast with a Billion Backs being a bit better than average and Into the Wild Green Yonder being bearable. Bender's Game was abysmal.
