Daybreakers

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Vampire movie with a twist... everyone is already a vampire. Which causes a problem....

Didn't suck. Pun.

It was ok. Probably a 5 out of 10 rating.

Some huge flaws in the plot, but overall an interesting movie. It got a bit ridiculous towards the end though.

Synopsis:
Someone wonders what might happen had Deacon Frost from Blade succeeded.

Review:
This was vaguely interesting mainly because I've not seen this angle played up before. You're forced to assume that vampires are complete fuckwits that haven't grasped how long immortality really lasts, because they have less foresight than goddamn hermit crab. If you take away the novelty, there isn't much here in terms of writing, acting, or atmosphere. There was a huge, massive, gaping hole in the plot about 10-15 minutes from the end. It wouldn't be such a killer if it weren't for the remaining parts of the movie. It was worth DVRing and I could see some potential in a sequel.
