I wonder what the whole state of Michigan is going to look like in 10 years. Population/Economy wise.

Really? Got any proof of that? Maybe the parents ought to be home, teaching their kids this vital knowledge instead of standing around bitching that others do it.

Buckman also had harsh words for a group of teachers who are in favor of striking instead of approving a new contract that forces them to give up $500 per month or $250 per paycheck as an investment. The money will be given to the district to help plug a $219 million deficit, and it will be returned when they retire.

Hmm, maybe they called in sick because their schools are shitholes.

They should follow Flint's lead and initiate a "poison the populous" plan.

The drinking water became contaminated after Flint, while under the control of a state-appointed emergency manager engaged in cost-cutting, switched from Lake Huron drinking water treated by the Detroit Water and Sewerage Company to Flint River water treated by a city treatment plant. The state Department of Environmental Quality has acknowledged it failed to require Flint to add needed corrosion control chemicals to the water, causing lead to leach into the drinking water from pipes and fixtures.
