A British indy horror film about a young woman who gets abducted and is then held hostage by a family of psychos.
The majority of the film is spent inside the family's house exploring their lifestyle and this woman's attempts to escape.
There is a body count, but it's pretty small. Implied violence and horror is more the standard here than actual killing. Some bits are really obvious attempts to shock, and as such they fail.
Surprisingly, the acting is decent throughout. There is some bad acting, of course, but the majority of the cast performs decently.
It's not the worst movie I've ever seen, but I would recommend it only to the most die hard horror fans. Even then, I would tell them not to expect much.
Taking everything into consideration, I'd give this a 5 out of 10. It's an indy film, but they did more with what they had to work with than most big budget horror films.

Despite the fact that I'm watching tons of horror lately and that my film is a short horror, I'm not really a horror guy. I like horror, but it's not my favorite genre.
That being said, if "Friday the 13th" and "My Bloody Valentine" couldn't get me to the theaters, then I doubt "Drag Me to Hell" will.
I'll rent it...when it hits the bargain bins.

I would like to hear the thoughts/attitudes for it from a seasoned viewer.
