The Descent

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Only one dude in the entire cast, and he's in it for about 45 seconds.

6 hard core adventure grrrrls go caving, and find out.... stuff. Bad stuff. Don't want to get too far into it and spoil it.

I thought it was an OK movie... and there was a part where I literally got to say, "Ah, THE DESCENT... it has a double meaning! How clever!"

Anyway, not horrible. I've seen worse. And it didn't end how I thought it would, and I think the ending I had in my head would have been better.

Thought I reviewed this here already?

I don't know, maybe I did. Or maybe I saw it prior to a forum crash...

Anyway, I liked it too. Not the best, but decent.

I know I saw this, maybe started a thread several forums ago. I remember hating it & thinking except for two scenes, it was complete shit. The way most of the characters were written (shallow & stupid) took any fun out of this.

You mentioned the "two scenes" thing in Descent in the Ruins thread.

Probably predicting the Ruins would be of the same ilk as the Descent?

Don't know, just skimmed.

One good thing Descent did...

I am not a claustrophobic person, but some of the shots of these women worming through tight little tunnels made me feel a little uncomfortable.
