Darth Vader ditches his teen angst and finds out he has the ability to teleport like Nightcrawler of the X-Men only with more range. Jules Winnfield is dedicated to wiping his kind off the planet.
I expected this to suck ass, but was pleasantly surprised when it didn't. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a "classic", but it's not as bad as it could've been. It's simply entertaining. Emphasis on "simply".
The story flows well enough, but it's not deep. All the characters are fleshed out just enough so that they're not one dimensional, but that's it.
The action is pretty cool, but does get a bit hokey in places. They REALLY have to make the jumpers seem stupid to give their normal human foes a chance.
LOADS of things left unresolved for sequels.
Rent it.
6 out of 10.
P.S. One little hiccup about the script, and I REALLY want to think the director blatantly pointed this out during an early scene, is that Frozone has a point... (Once someone else sees it, start a spoiler thread and we'll discuss.)
