The Nines

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Very interesting film.

Ryan Reynolds stars in this film as three different characters in three different stories. The true storyline is about how all three are connected.

This is an interesting film that I didn't hate. I honestly think Ryan Reynolds gives a good performance, although Melissa McCarthy really shines, particularly in the first story (best way to put it without spoiling anything).

The premise is different and unique enough to warrant some praise. I'm not entirely thrilled with the last 15 minutes or so of the movie, but I can live with it.

Hope Davis and Elle Fanning also provide good performances to make for a well acted movie.

This is one of those films that's "different" and I really can't say if you'll like it or hate it (except Malcolm who'll hate it). I think if you go in with an open mind, you could be pleasantly surprised and won't regret the rental.

6.5 out of 10.

By the way, there is a short film on the DVD called "God". It's a one joke film, but it's pretty funny.
