Thib: you should watch this because at one point there's going to be a big battle and the enemy commander is talking to other commander on the radio and tells him he should surrender because he is vastly outnumbered.... and the correct one-word response is given.

Another fine example of the bullshit that is the ratings system. It's about the worst example of statistical "random" selection this side of push-polls. And it's no surprise CBS shit-slotted it, this will be the example they point to as a reason never to bring back a show just because the fans want it.

Still, at least they'll give it some closure this time.

Only if you watch it within 24 hours.

I got picked for a week with a booklet, and because of that rule I officially watched nothing all week long, even though I spend pretty much all my free time with the TV on. I almost never watch anything within 24 hours of when it was recorded - and certainly never live - so as far as they are concerned I don't watch TV.

EDIT: Actually it may have been 8 hours. It's hard to remember.

No surprise there. The writer's strike got in the way and the resurgance of interest in the show lost too much steam.

I just hope they close out the story properly. I don't mind good shows going away, I just hate it when they go away without some sort of completion. Makes me want to stop watching good shows altogether.

I'm still really pissed off about Drive.

Rumor has it that like first season, they filmed 2 season-closing episodes... one cliffhanger, and one that closes the story.

I heard the same. And they've certainly set it up for the possibility of a rapid close in this last episode.
