This is one of those books I picked up from the discount table in a book store. I took it home and shelved it for later. About a month later, I was in the same book store and bought it again because I forgot I already bought it the first time. So I have 2 hardcover copies of this book.
When this one came out I remember a lot of people saying, "Oh, another haunted car, King is washed up and is repeating his old, good ideas."
Well, I just read it, and it is not a rehash of Christine. It's more related to the Dark Tower books than anything else, and, if it is, it's just an interesting side story of which there must be thousands, in that universe.
So, if you like King books (post-drug addiction books, anyway) , this campfire ghost story won't disappoint.
