The Boondocks - TV

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

Heard what was possibly the funniest line in a long time last night.

"You just called your grandfather 'bitches.'"
"I didn't mean 'bitches' in a disrespectful way. I meant it as a general term for women."

Martin Luther King's speech last night was good.

Damn, that show is funny. I liked the episode where Riley was terrorizing the mall Santa. I'd be proud of my kid if he did that.

New episodes. Current one is about movie piracy & how the movie industry, from the films to the theatres, sucks ass. The mock preview of "Soul Plane 2" was great.

Aaron MacGruder seems to have a hard on for anime-style kung fu shit. Which is all well & good, but I can see it getting relied on too much.

While it was fun seeing Usher slapped, that one character that did it, the lawyer, has always annoyed me cos he's such a fucking pussy. People who do that to themselves are folk I don't've much sympathy for. But I fucking hate the movie industry.

& I thought it was "Slickback." Sweetback is the dude from "Sweet Sweetback's Baadasssss Song." Then again, I was really drunk.

I was a little "Eh" on that episode.

But at least they touched on the self destructive nature of... well... "not snitching."

Some suburban white chick w\ a whining kid in a supermarket : How do I get him to stop complaining?

Granddad : You ever try beatin' his ass?

This show yet grows on me.

That was a repeat and I still laughed at that part.

You see the new one where Granddad met the insane, wolf-owning, kung fu chick on myspace? Thought it was great how they imply that her problems all stemmed from her listening to her girlfriend who couldn't get a man, either.
