Standard "aliens from outer space invade a small town" scenario, but the catch is that the great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather of Captain Malcolm Reynolds plays the Chief of Police. It is even Nathan Fillion. And he speaks almost exactly the way Mal does.
This is a much better movie than the name implies. I'll probably pick up the DVD eventually.

This movie has it's tongue firmly in cheek the whole time.
Entertaining enough that I would hope it makes the rounds on TBS and TNT every October, but not good enough to rate any sort of "classic" status.
