Hot Fuzz

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

'Twas kick-ass when I saw it as well.

A very excelleent follow-up to Shaun of the Dead, unlike Broken Lizard going from Sooper Troopers to Club Dread.

Great film.

Bonus points for featuring the movies that they spoof.

I also guarantee you will never see Timothy Dalton, Edward Woodward, & Paul Freeman in the same flick again. James Bond (sort of), the Equalizer, & Belloq.

& the cop they bring to talk to the rural farmer cos he's the only one that understands, they do indeed've people like that o'er there.

The deluxe DVD (or whatever it's called) has some pretty good extras on it. Outtakes, shitloads of deleted scenes, and a long hand-held-camera diary of their 4 week US film promotion tour.

Or, those poor birthday cakes....

Watched it for the fourth time tonight. Noticing new things every time. They really went overboard with the homages at the end. They even threw in Jurassic Park.

I'm going to watch Shaun of the Dead now.

Has anyone ever seen their TV series Spaced? Is it as good as these two films?

I always have to correct everyone's pronunciation of "Smithwick's" anyway.
