The article says it's a remake and she'll take over the role Harrison made famous. However, I saw another report from a very small and unknown YouTube saying it would just be in the franchise, not a remake of Richard Kimble's story.
That would be acceptable. Although, Zendaya, whom I am a fan of, is starting to be in Pedro Pascal territory. People are getting sick of seeing her in everything.
