I read the report's demographic sections, and it does not say that. It does say that immigration contributed. Inflation in the same period was 21%.

Inflation absolutely was a factor, but like college, when the government starts paying for some, the price goes up for all.

We're seeing the same thing in every country that did this mass immigration horseshit.

Get them all the fuck out and if the prices don't fall 30%, I'll say I was wrong.

We're paying (or were under Biden) for housing for millions of illegals. Every dime spent on illegals, not just in housing, drives up our cost of living overall. That's before you look at all the people who were evicted by the Biden admin to make room for those illegals who then had to go find new places to live. So whatever the illegals numbers were, you have to double them.

And don't get me started on all the free shit we give American free loaders. You can deport those assholes too.

Reminder: Illegals are NOT migrant workers. Also, free loaders are NOT people down on their luck.

LA City Council puts illegal voting on the ballot.

Given what we just saw with their mayoral primary, it probably already passed...

Seriously, what the fuck are we doing?

The federal government does not do this. So we are not paying for it! They do provide assistance for legal immigrant of varying kinds (refugees, mainly, as I understand it).

BUT, states/cities/nonprofits may do it. Like New York City.

Do not support, but cities/town can do as they like I guess.

You are correct.
The Biden administration did not issue direct, universal cash payments to immigrants. Instead, the federal government distributed billions of dollars to states, local governments, and nonprofit organizations through the Department of Homeland Security’s Shelter and Services Program and the Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Refugee Resettlement to cover temporary housing, food, and medical care.

So, the government isn't issuing the check to them, but they are funding the bank account that the checks are coming from. I feel like this is still the federal government paying for it.
