Diet and Exercise

You probably can't do it, so don't even try.

The realistic goal would be another 20 pounds, and that's what I'm shooting for, 225. However, I'd like to get down to 200, although one of the co-workers I'm in this with said, "Dude, you would look like a crackhead." He has a point. My wife said something similar when I told her, "You've got too much muscle to drop that low." I do not want to lose muscle mass.

225 is the victory. Once I get there, if I see room for more improvement without looking like I'm on Ozempic, I'll keep going.

I have already noticed a slimming in my face.

Good luck! It's hard.

Did a weigh in this morning. By the official numbers, I'm down 19.7 pounds.

Unofficially, from my highest ever weight, I'm down 21.7.

It only goes to July 1st, but I'm going well past that. I have a trip to Universal later in July and I'm not going to Florida in the middle of summer as a fattie. I've set a weight goal only known to myself, and as stated, the lifestyle changes are already in effect. Smaller portions, no fast food, snacking almost gone, etc.

I want to stay on this path through the end of the year. I figure that should be long enough to really set a pattern.

Also, I'm not being super strict. Being forced to get BK after all night at a sporting event? Fine. Want a candy bar? Fine, just don't make it a habit. Point being, everything is a realistic change. I'm not doing anything over the top. In fact, tonight is the first night in weeks that I haven't walked or rowed. Had to take a break for my body, but it's such a habit now that I miss it.

In a funny moment, my wife was legit pissed at me today because the new jeans (1 of 3 pair) I just bought look like clown pants on me now. Apparently, she'd rather me being miserable, out of shape, and unhealthy to save a buck. She doesn't know about the new shorts that, literally, fall right to the floor when I try to put them on...

Yeah... I tried to wait all the way down, but things all looked ginormous. But I also didn't want to waste money.

Ended up with a few select items that I just wore all the time.
