Speed Racer

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

The The Wachowski Brothers are doing Speed Racer, and the entire thing will be in focus.

Jesus fuck. At this rate, we'll be seeing "Jem : the Movie" before too long.

You know I heard she's truly outrageous. Truly, truly, truly outrageous.

FYI: I have heard rumors of a live action Smurfs, so you're probably right.

Creativity gotta be fucking stagnant before someone says, "Dude, let's redo the Smurfs."

That live action focus sounds like an on-screen migraine, but I am intrigued.
Wadda mean? Other people can read this?!

A Wachowski's Speed Racer could be really interesting. I expect a lot of stuff in bullet time, with a surreal look to the whole thing.

I don't think it could possibly be worth spending actual money on though. I mean, it's Speed Racer after all, and I've never been a fan of car chase movies.

Trailer.

Looks like a cross between the Dick Tracy movie, and the game Wipout for the Playstation.
