As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

G4 carries this thing. It's some Japanese gameshow subtitled in English. It's divvied into four stages. One hundred contestants start out & attempt to get thru all four. Only one dude in the history of the game has even beaten everything. They consist of physical obstacles of varied types. Taken separately, they're interesting. But sometimes they have to go thru five, six, or seven at once. It's fucking brutal. They regularly have former Olympic athletes run the course & fail. The subtitles also suffer from stereotypical bad translation. I find this show to be more entertaining than most other game shows. None of the bullshit drama most things try to squeeze in.

I've caught a couple of episodes and it is pretty good.

I wish I got that channel. :(

They've got a separate course that they sometimes use for all-women events. The obstacles are noticeably less challenging & the clock is set a bit higher.

Challenges of the women's course : running on an inclined plane, hanging & moving on a slow moving trapeze hang to drop onto a mat, climbing up a rope ladder.

Normal challenges : hanging on a log whilst its rolls down parallel inclined bars, climbing up a rope, climbing up a steep-ass ramp, jumping from a trampoline across a gap then grab rope netting in mid-jump then scaling said rope net.

Oh, & only one woman has ever gotten thru the first stage of the standard course.
