I was absolutely stoked when it looked like it was going to be a tag team fight at the end. The undead horse & demon cycle speeding across the pecos leaving huge swaths of burning flame in their wake to the old wild west showdown tune was kinda cool. I simply could not wait to see a CG Sam Elliot whoop up on the high school loser. That character could've been so much more bad-ass had he been able to provide combat instead of moral support.Leisher wrote:Agreed. I did not understand the whole "one ride left" bullshit.

He does his Last Ride to the scene of the big fight... and then he leaves before the big fight starts. How heroic.
The woman playing the lead female role..... absolutely horrible actress. I couldn't believe they got someone so shitty for a big film. Must have been screwing EVERYBODY to get that job. She made Denise Richards in Starship Troopers seem like Maryl Streep in Out of Africa.
Just really, really bad.
This flick isn't even worth a rental.

I borrowed the DVD from my father in law.
Cage gave an acting job of Ben Affleck'ian proportions.
Johnny Blaze is going to jump 300 feet from goal post to goal post? What field has goal posts 300 feet apart?
The "one ride left" thing. WTF? I kept waiting for Cowboy Ghost Rider to show up at the last second for some final stand against his old master. But nada.
The movie was terrible. It's like nobody except the CGI team gave a damn. You could feel the committees fingers probing the orifices of just about every scene.

Why do people harsh on Affleck so much?

Cos he can't act.
I don't buy that. Despite some bad performances, there are movies he didn't suck in. Besides if we threw all the actors and actresses out of Hollywood who can't act, there'd be like 6 people left.
The Affleck hating began when he started dating J'Lo and I can't figure out why. I mean, huge mistake, yes, but the guy is married with a kid now, so why is everyone carrying this torch of hatred for him still?

Before we derail this thread, I'm going to create a new one to discuss Affleck...
