Agreed.

And show causes of 10 yrs for both the DC and OC, lifetime bans for Jim and Stallions, and 1-5 yr show causes for all other coaches.

My twitter has been full of UNC hate after they barely made the tournament...
North Carolina didn't merely play a good game but a historic and dominant one, crushing San Diego State 95-68 at UD Arena. The Heels advanced in the South Region, where they will face No. 6 seed Ole Miss on Friday afternoon in Milwaukee.

They left nothing to chance, pulling away with an early 20-2 run and more than doubling the Aztecs' point total at halftime (47-23). North Carolina hit 14 3-pointers, its most in an NCAA tournament game since the 3-point line became official in 1986-87.

Senior guard RJ Davis became the first Heels player to go 6-of-6 on 3-pointers in an NCAA tournament game, surpassing the record of 5-for-5 set by former UNC star and current coach Hubert Davis against Eastern Michigan in 1991. Sophomore guard Elliot Cadeau's 12 assists tied Davis and Kenny Smith for second most by a UNC player in an NCAA tourney tilt since assists became official in 1984.
Maybe SDSU was the mistake?

That was definitely a statement.

UNC is a (slightly) better team than it's record. It's changed a lot over the season, and the past 10 games have been the proof. Are they going to win it all? Of course not. But they deserved to be there. Granted, all the last 4-8 teams in/out are pretty interchangeable, so it's weird to me people get SO UPSET about it.

UNC opened as 1.5 pt favorites against Ole Miss. lol

People just want to bitch. Sports, politics, religion, environment, sexes, etc. The vast majority of people ranting about those topics aren't actually vested or even arguing for a logical conclusion, they're just bitching.

Fair.

But calling it a "grave miscarriage of justice," like, get some perspective, Jon Rothstein, who was actually one of the announcers for the game last night :) That's not just some disgruntled NCSU/Duke fan, that's a freaking professional.

That does seem, to be insanely overboard, but related to what I said before, hyperbole sells and gets clicks.

TTUN's Matt Weiss officially charged with hacking.

If you don't remember, during the TTUN cheating investigation it was reported that the FBI was on campus and at the football facility for something. Rumor had it, well, basically exactly what that article says.

Yeah, Matt's pretty gross and is probably going away for a while.

Somehow, I believe that scandal tied into the cheating one, but I don't remember how. I do think the FBI tipped off the gambling watchdogs...

Anyway, my bracket is perfect, so I want my trip to Mars. No need to wait for the results of the rest of the games!!

B10 - I think they were favored in every game? Still, great showing.

SEC has disappointed, as have the MWC and ACC.

Beefy Goliath has prevailed. After two rounds, there’s not a single remaining team from a small or mid-major conference. The 16 entrants who will play Thursday and Friday hail from just four swanky power conferences: the SEC (7 remaining teams), Big Ten (4 teams), Big 12 (4 teams), and the ACC (one team, which sadly is Duke).

That’s the fewest number of conferences represented in modern tournament history. The lowest seed to make it through this year is 10th-seeded Arkansas, a very known program coached by very known human, John Calipari.

The hate is real. If Duke was a person, you'd all be burning crosses in his yard!

Also, Brandon Carney did a video calling this March Midness. Turns out Madness took the year off.

Yeah. We had a special prize in our bracket for most double-digit seed team wins. No 13-16s won at all. 2 12s won, 1 11, and the aforementioned 10 seed (Arkansas).

Colorade extends Sanders for $54M.

On one hand, you're Colorado and you'll never do better than Deion.

On the other, I don't believe the job he's done on the field is worth this kind of money.
