It was aired on TV in 3 minute segments, but now you can buy 2 DVD's with about 2 hours of movie that takes place between Star Wars Eps 2, and 3. Jedi fighting the Clone Wars, all over the galaxy.
This 2-hour cartoon has more kick-ass moments than all of the prequels put together. If they'd made this into an actual movie, scene for scene, it would have been the best of the prequels, by far. You get to see Mace Windu actually being a badass instead of fighting an old man and getting kileld. Same with the other Jedi.
It ends exactly as Episode 2 begins. Why does Grievous have all those light sabers? Why is he wheezing? Etc etc.

I believe I've seen this. Looks like it was far enough away from Lucas so as not to be affected by his insanity.

I'd just like to say that for me this is another case of a product being so good that it warranted a purchase IN SPITE OF having already been downloaded.
There is a lot of awesomeness in this movie. Strange to see Jedi acting like badasses... Clone troopers so awesome you actually root for them... Annikin Skywalker with 80% less emo and 67% more ass kicking.
