Your daily reminder that Tomlin sucks and should resonate a bit more with Catt now: He passed up hiring Kliff Kingsbury as his OC to hire Art Smith instead.

Kiper's latest mock.

I would love Emeka to the Steelers.

Also, I am oddly confident that Sanders to the Giants at 3 would work. I think Daboll is a good coach and he'd get the most out of Sanders. It won't equal the success of JD and the Commanders, but I think it starts making them a legit team.

Oh, and I don't like Hunter to the Browns. He reminds me of...that TTUN player who won DPoTY in the B1G and went to be a mediocre starter in the NFL...I cannot remember his name. Fitting because nobody remembers his play. He was overrated and outshined in almost every statistical category in the B1G. I've heard similar complaints about Hunter. He'll need to pick a role to really have a chance to shine.

YES! I know he's been "fine" in the NFL, but he's certainly not a game changer of any kind. Hunter could be something special, but he's going to need to focus on one thing.

Honestly, as your rival, I don't want you to take a QB, which means you should. Even if they fail, it's the right move (I would also accept trading down). But in today's NFL, you have to build from the QB on. QB>Oline>#1 - 3 WR>Defense. That means a failed QB is still worth more to your franchise than a star CB.

From worst job to best, imho: Raiders, Saints, Cowboys, Jags.

I base that on current rosters and salary caps.

The Cowboys would honestly be the best as long as you get on Jerry's side. As nuts as he is, he seems to be a good dude when it comes to being loyal to people.

Down to 3. Jags fired their GM, and then the Bucs' OC was like "OK, we can talk after all"
The decision capped a two-day saga in which Coen pulled himself from consideration for the Jaguars job, then agreed to a contract extension with the Buccaneers that would have made him the NFL's highest-paid coordinator, and then changed his mind after Jacksonville reached out to ask him to reconsider after it parted ways with general manager Trent Baalke on Wednesday afternoon.

Seconded.

Also, Pete Carroll is a funny move due to age, but it's the right one. The Raiders needed an established coach to reset the culture there.

I heard Jerry's kids were pushing for Brian.

It's definitely not a splash move, but his dad was a great coach, so we'll see.

The man's already dead, don't kill him again.

Good luck today. I'll be rooting for them.
