A good night of PvP. Won 4 out of 7 I think? I'm pretty sure we won 1 more than we lost. Market estimates said we did really good with loot, but we'll see what it actually sells for.

I'm still messing up. Not targeting well. Forgetting to activate some damage options. Not evading or chasing well. Just don't have a solid feel for the action. But again, no complaints with the match making. Some matches are closer than others, but I feel like we're paired correctly.

Right now, BillTheCatt leads the guild in gathering fame. I lead in PvE fame. Jemma leads in crafting and Construction Contribution. I wish it had an "overall" fame count.

We got no PvP fame tonight. Maybe you only get it in red and black zones?

Smelter, Lumber, and Weaver are all T3 and able to process T4 materials. Still don't know what food does.

That staff sold for 256k. Someone bought a bunch. Lowest on the market now is 299k.

Market just updated. Someone bought 4 at 280. Mine was priced at 275k.

Ok. Food for buildings. For the higher tier stuff, the building burns food to do the work. Currently doing Tier4 wood and it's using 2 food units per plank. Food was about 380 silver and each food gave the building 159 (I think) food units. If you want to use the buildings, bring food. The building will tell you what their favorite food is so you get double the food input.

I dropped 50k silver into the guild bank. Also, seems fish is a terrible food for the crafters.

What do we want the guild to do?

The top ranked guild is like 80% gather fame. So you don't have to just PvP and control areas to rank high. There are guild rewards that are collected. I know this because it says you have to be member for at least some number of days to be able to collect them. No idea how they are earned or what they are.

I appreciate the 50k donation. . . but what do you want me to do with it? :-)

Expanding on island talk. . . Different cities give different crafting bonuses for different stuff. So I plan on moving my personal island to another region and setting up the resource building associated with that region. For instance, if you process lumber in Fort Sterling, you get a yield bonus of some kind. I don't remember the other areas. Eventually, alternate characters will have islands in other areas. But for now, I'm probably going to move my private island to Fort Sterling and setup a Lumbermill there.ii

Hell if I know? :)

Maybe we should have a meal cooker place at the guild island.

I must have mis-enetered something in that calculator, cuz my batch of cabbage made 40k (includes 2 seeds).

Ugh, no the website I used was just plain wrong
The crops will sell for around 1,239 silver each at Martlock for a total of 122,661 silver (based on premium average yields).
It was more like 365 each.

Well, I can finally clear large camps in the Mists without too much issue; and I finished 2 solo dungeons without extreme issues (died once). So I'm getting better. Last week I could barely do a small camp in the Mists before running out of time.

I tried to do the faction thing, got 46 faction points, but couldn't really join any battles (didn't go far).

I took him down because he was unhappy and sucking the happiness out of the room making mine unhappy!!

But the real reason is, every laborer needs a bed and a table. That's why there are three beds and tables in there now. Because you added a 4th, it really was lowering the overall happiness of all laborers. When you place a laborer, make sure you put and bed and table down with it.
Also, each different laborer type has a different type of trophy he wants in the building. Since yours was not a merc laborer like mine, he had no trophies to look at, making him more unhappy, and lowering the average. It's bad practice to mix laborers in the same house because you have to buy more trophies. If they are all the same, you buy one trophy for that laborer type, and they all like it. When you mix, you have to keep buying and placing more trophies. And since furniture items are limited, you run out of space for adding more beds/tables/trophies. Ya. I know. They can't make this simple. . .
If you want a hide laborer, you are better to build another house, fill it to the max with hide laborers and their trophies, beds, tables.

In summary, I did take your laborer down, not to be a dick, but because you weren't doing it right and you were lowering my income! And also, you have to buy a journal for him, fill it, and give it to him. Since you hadn't done that yet, I knew I wasn't interrupting your progress.

More island drama. . . .

Having all of the work stations on the same island, while convenient, isn't the most efficient for the resources. Each region gives bonuses on different resources. Where the guild island is, we get +40% on fiber. When you process the other stuff, you get no bonus. In Fort Sterling, you get 40% on wood. Etc. So you get far higher return if you go to those regions for processing. Question is, do personal islands see these bonuses? I'm confused on that.
If personal islands get those bonuses, I think it's worth the trip and would be moving my personal island to another region just for muling resources.

I have not come across anything that says butchers, alchemists, cooks, etc get any city bonuses. So maybe those are the other buildings we put on the guild island?

I feel like it's too early to figure out what 'the guild' means as far as anything. Because we don't know anything. That being said, I do plan on filling up the guild hall with laborers to start recouping some of the island costs. So Stranger, please put your laborers in your house on your island, or build a separate house on the guild island. I can help you get that started if you don't know how. Small houses aren't that expensive either. However, to get high tier laborers, you need a high tier island, and with about 25million in upgrade costs remaining, the guild island isn't the cheapest way to get a high tier island. However, we do end up with a lot of lots, so maybe per lot, it is cheaper? Turns out it's not. Private islands are about 500k per lot, guild is about 1.5m per lot. So guild islands are good for running a ton of laborers from, but start up costs are huge. So again, I'm going to run laborers to put a small dent in the current investment until we figure out exactly how we want to use the island/buildings.

Stone may have been the worst choice for workers in Lymhurst. Ugh.

Cabbage is doing OK, 120k/day.

Up to Level 20 on fishing.
