ABC gets a clue.

Rosie is leaving the view.

Her and ABC claim it was mutual and was simply about her contract. I cry bullshit.

Rosie is very opinionated as anyone who has ever seen her knows, and she isn't afraid to voice those opinions. Unfortunately, she's also not the brightest bulb in the pack.

Thus, she has recently insulted all Asians and claimed anyone who thinks 9/11 wasn't a government conspiracy is "ignorant".

Considering what Don Imus was fired for, you don't have to be a rocket scientist to know that it would only be a matter of time before Rosie becomes the target of a witch hunt.

I think this is ABC beating the public to the punch and allowing both the network and Rosie to save face by claiming it was a contract thing.

If ratings were up by as much as they claim since Rosie joined the show, believe me, ABC would NOT be letting her walk away. (To give you an example of what I mean, NBC offered Jerry Seinfeld $100 million to keep Seinfeld going after season 9, which he turned down.)

Besides, how much credibility does a show, that tries to come off as a very credible news source, have when one of their main anchors makes racist statements and then calls the majority of Americans "ignorant" based on the fact that she believes in the theories of crackpots using bad science?

P.S. Don't believe the lies about Rosie and Barbara being friends either. Barbara has already lost a friend in Trump due to Rosie, and has apologized many times on air for things Rosie has said. Including having to constantly remind the audience that things Rosie says aren't always the opinion of ABC or the other women on The View.

For example.

That wasn't even on The View, but Rosie still sticks her foot in her mouth and Barbara still has to distance herself...yeah, it was "mutual".

When they decided to get rid of Star Jones ABC told her that she could make up any excuse she wanted for leaving, and they would back her story.
But Star Jones didn't go nicely and ended up looking like a total bitch.

I think ABC made the same arrangement with Rosie, but she's reacting to it better than Star.
