If you are into some seriously woke shit. . . this is for you. The first couple episodes were traditional Twilight Zone material. Enough that I wanted to keep watching.
But episode 3 - It's about a white cop that harasses a black mother and son. He escalates their encounter to the point of shooting or tasing the son. But the mom discovers her old camcorder rewind button rewinds time. So, she can rewind back to before the encounter. Every time the scenario plays out, no matter what road they take, no matter what she does/says to the cop, it always ends with the boy being tased or shot. That is, until the boy finally makes it to his black college and there's all these other students around, with cellphones, that the cop, and this time his 4 back up cops all ready to shoot the kid as well, finally back down. She spends the next many years carrying the camcorder around to protect her son. All cops are bad. I really thought they were going to have the back up cops try to reel in the bad one. But no, they were right there with him. Again, all cops are bad.
Episode 4, traditional TZ material.
Ep 5 - Traditional - Actually, this one focused on how social media would destroy the world. But since I agree with this, I guess I was blind to the wokeness, or something. It was actually kind of funny. But then went off the rails in the last 5 minutes to really drive their point home. But, it's the TZ, so I let it slide.
Ep 6 - Traditional
Ep 7 - Men are bad. A meteor brings men's aggression to the surface and it's a full on rampage. They beat/kill each other in the streets in an all out riot rampage. It doesn't affect women at all. Two women are trying to find their nephew/son (the women are sisters). He's with his gay boyfriend. They find them as the boyfriend starts raging out. The son/nephew is exposed to the meteor and starts raging out, but he recovers. Doesn't turn. Turns out, it's because he chose not to. That's all you have to do to keep from turning. Just choose not to. But all the other men turned, because, you know, all men are bad. And women never are.
Ep 8 - Immigration. A woman turns her housekeeper into immigration and when describing the event to friends, talks about how she tried to stand up to the officers, etc. Then, "immigration" came and took the woman away. Turned out, she was from another dimension, but she had forgotten it because she came as a very young child. She was really upset because our dimension was her home. Etc. Immigration didn't care and ripped her from her home and sent her back to her dimension. It was really heart wrenching and you really felt bad for her. Oh, and they piled on the white privilege VERY heavily. Because white people are the only ones with problems with immigrants.
Ep 9 - Didn't watch. Two heavily woke episodes was too much.
Ep 10 - Didn't watch, but the name of it and the person in it seems familiar. I may watch it to confirm this. Actually, it's reminding me of a Black Mirror episode. Won't be watching it.
Given how HEAVY the woke stuff was in those few episodes, I have to wonder if I just missed it in the others because I'm blind to my prejudices and flaws, or if they put them in there to be like "Keep watching, nothing to see here, everything is normal" as they try to brainwash me, or something. Hell, you know, like in The Twilight Zone!
I don't mind social commentary in my entertainment. However, this was presented in a VERY holier than thou kind of way. Very much a typical extreme liberal point of view. Jordan Peele didn't pull any punches when telling me how shitty of a thing I am. Thanks Jordon. I'll try to change now.
All that being said, episodes 1, 2 4, 5 and 6 are worth watching. Stay far away from the others. That's why I didn't mind spoiling them for you. I did you a favor.

I've decided I'm done with Jordan Peele. His stuff so far is 100% "white people suck and are your enemy." He went from sending up that subject comedically on his TV show to full on filling the wells with poison.

He's definitely leaned into a particular view, but it is working for him. He gets the black audience and all the liberals full of white guilt who love to be told how shitty they are.
