I had no idea this one even came out due to Hulu's new shitty layout.
Anyway, a guy is in a mental asylum and goes through an experimental treatment. Soon he starts getting evidence that he is actually the President of the U.S. and he might be held there against his will.
How do you show on screen someone's dementia? You lie to the audience...a LOT. This was really well acted and interesting, but ultimately fails because as the viewer you will simply stop believing anything. Plus, you have to really buy into everyone at a medical facility being sadists who are fine with essentially killing their patients.
Good performances, but ultimately a failure.
