A mom, her friend, and their son go camping, but are soon stalked by potentially the worst killer in movie history.
The feeble attempts at ratcheting up the tension or making the audience get feels for the characters are laughable. "I'm going to be a mom!", uh, we don't care. The killer's supernatural ability to disappear within 10 seconds from a not too dense forest area really destroy any sense of immersion.
You're two grown women and a child alone in the forest with a can of bear mace. A strange man, who will not talk to you, is clearly following you and only about 30 feet behind you. What's the right move? Pull out the bear mace, confront him, and then seek help or escape, right? Wrong! Hide behind a tree, wait until he magically disappears from the other side of the fucking tree, then camp for the night as if nothing is wrong is the correct choice.
This movie just plain sucked in every way.
