A young boy's strange behavior has a mother questioning if he is really him.
European film based upon an urban legend. I'm sure you know the legend. It was recently done in...a Christmas movie that I can't recall...black family and the boy goes missing for just a second and...oh well.
Anyway, the whole movie hinges on the performances of its two stars, Seána Kerslake and James Quinn Markey. Seána brings the goods. James not so much.
James Cosmo and Kati Outinen provide some color and backstory. Cosmo is particularly good.
It's really slow and would absolutely suck if Kerslake wasn't so compelling. She saves the film.
Mothers will want to watch so they can hear all about how a mother would know if their child was different. Dads wouldn't apparently notice if our kid didn't know what their favorite game was all of a sudden...

“Activism is a way for useless people to feel important, even if the consequences of their activism are counterproductive for those they claim to be helping and damaging to the fabric of society as a whole.” - Dr Thomas Sowell
