TV - Deadwood Season 3

As long as we recognize Lucas is washed up and most TV sucks, we'll all get along fine.

I hate to admit but there are times I can't follow their Old West Iambic Pentameter.

Deadwood brought back to life?
Diogenes of Sinope: "It is not that I am mad, it is only that my head is different from yours."
Arnold Judas Rimmer, BSC, SSC: "Better dead than smeg."

Would like. I remember getting to the end and going... wait, what? No more seasons?

e: It can't be any worse than the Entourage movie (which I've yet to see)

I was considering when one of the most interesting characters leaves the show.

After a certain point you have to just settle in for the macabre situations, and old-west-iambic-pentameter.

Yeah, that was a shame, but you knew it was coming.

I need action.

Today they talked about fire codes.

I think the people missed a lot of potential of what the setting could have been.

I hope they go into intricate detail and have lawyers and courtroom drama and shit, instead of, you know, KILLING.

MEH.

This show is worse than Breaking Bad. Both have endlessly long scenes of complication and build-up, but BB almost always gave release. Deadwood's just a shitty tease.

First 5 episodes of season 1: awesome

Then it jumped the shark.

But I didn't want to spoil it for you.

Yeah... it got slow and boring and emotional fast.

And so many pointless scenes, and plot developments that WERE UTTERLY WORTHLESS. It was like a 30 hour long set of character studies.

Bah.
