I'm run into a few people when jogging. Once a group of teens was purposely blocking the path, 3 across, so I lowered my shoulder and knocked one of them away. But that dude had plenty of space to move in.

I sometimes wonder about someone doing some shit like that to me when I'm running in a crowded city. Just a quick push off balance and I'd be DOA.
I ate shit twice yesterday while running in the rain in Jackson, MS. Trying to avoid big puddles, slipped and fell into the mud and the grass. I was fine, but managed to do it right in front of a bunch of people sitting on their porches. Only my pride got wounded.

I'd make a joke about "good thing these trails are all white Europeans," but TBH you never know who's a fucking psycho.
But seriously, as an english speaking american, I am a vast minority out here in these national parks.
