The 15... 10 commandments!

Arkansas erected a new monument of the 10 commandments and within 24 hours some nutjob drove his car into it and posted it live on FB.

He's apparently done it several times before.

I'm with him on the separation of church and state, but what a dick. This is not the way to change thinking.

Besides, religious or not, the ten commandments are kind of a good guideline on how to get along.

The first 3 commandments sound like the same rules a really controlling girlfriend would have. The others wouldn't be so bad except they all have asterisks and certain circumstances that make them theologically useless.

They're better than most religions' rules.

When the atheists release an official rule book, holla.

The 10 commandments are the basis of 3 western religions. From that perspective, they are identical. They all bitch about the details, and there's plenty of insanity to go around Islamic, Jewish, and Christian dogma. The book of Leviticus is just as harsh as sharia.

As for atheists, I suppose the holy books are the philosophical and epistemological musings of everyone from Socrates to Hawking.

Yeah, I've never understood actually being against the 10 commandments. And honestly, a whole lot of the Old Testament in Exodus found its way into our government.

The first testament.
The second testament.
The third testament.
The fourth testament.
The fifth testament.

The rest are OK.

I'm confused. Are you meaning commandments?
