Yay Netflix!
Found footage movie about haunted houses, including a mysterious haunted house that moves locations every year. (You can see where this is going.)
This movie apparently came about because the people involved originally made a documentary about haunted houses. However, it's a bit confusing because it's listed as a documentary, yet has a story?
Anyway, this movie is a mix of reality and story. The reality stuff is ok. It's just a bunch of clips from haunted houses in Texas. The story stuff is far less ok. Seriously, the people in this film might be the dumbest in movie history.
The horror is all people in costumes acting weird and jump scares. There's a hint of supernatural elements, but it's never discussed or explained. The "action" that you expect from a horror film is non-existent. The entire climatic scene is nothing but shaky cam and sounds that don't add up to what you're barely seeing.
Oh, let's talk about that shaky cam. This movie's camerawork makes the Bourne movies look like they were shot from a single camera stabalized with cement.
There was something here that was worthwhile, but it gets lost in intentionally bad camerawork and a terrible plot.

Forgot to mention the best thing about the movie. There is one costume that is truly horrifying. Put into a bigger and better film, it would become a well known property. Here, it will be forgotten. They knew it too because it's in the promotional materials.
