Coming to NBC.
I've talked about this concept in a different thread. This is DC's version, Marvel's would be "Damage Control" or something like that.
It'll be comedy and about the aftermath of super hero fights where regular folks are picking up the pieces.

Wife and I watched the premiere of this. Had some moments of humor, and a pretty good idea. You can see the potential. Unfortunately I think their writers came over from Nickelodeon. It was groan worthy bad in places. We usually give a new show at least three episodes to find their footing before we decide to keep or eject it from the DVR (Preacher was one we weren't sure about). This was so bad it didn't get a chance at redemption. Just too immature in the writing.

In my Hulu Watchlist. This is one of the few times DC beat Marvel to the punch on something as they have a similar show on the way.
Preacher is awesome, but that's a discussion for that thread.

If you watch it, let me know what you think on this one.
I agree that Preacher turned out to be really good, but at first it was hard to tell if they had a destination in mind or were just sort of meandering around.

A little of both. Just read an article recently where they asked why the show didn't immediately leave the small town like the book does. The showrunners said they wanted people to see Jesse Custer as a Preacher before moving on with the story. Considering he's a drinking, smoking, fornicating, former criminal running with his ex, an Irish vampire, and hunting God to make him answer for sin...it makes sense.I agree that Preacher turned out to be really good, but at first it was hard to tell if they had a destination in mind or were just sort of meandering around.

Ah... that was a good call on their part. I've never read the series or even a synopsis. It was good to spend some time setting up his background,
